Saddle up! Twenty Pairs of Riding Boots under $150.

Riding boots just so happen to be one of those things that can pull together a look without much effort. You get comfort without sacrificing style. I have several pairs of riding boots and I have managed to find them at great prices. Surprisingly a couple are actually from Anthropologie- one of my most favorite stores.

I scoped out some very nice affordable boots, that should come in handy during these winter months. Pair with a pair of bad ass skinnies such as J Brand’s power stretch, a chunky knit sweater and BOOM. You’re all set to come and get me for lunch. Or dinner, whichever you prefer.

What I Wore: Pop of Pink +A Side of Litas

Last Friday I stepped out with my pal Danielle for her birthday at an awesome restaurant called Pio Pio . The food was scrumptious and I actually could go for one of their seafood platters…NOW.

Since no one is jumping to bring me a plate or anything I will share what I wore. First…I wanted to wear a different top than pictured. I put it on and you could see my heart pumping. I literally  had to CUT the shirt off of me, I now have a new dust rag. I managed to pull together something. The  leopard print  shorts from Necessary Clothing  here in NYC.  The pink blazer is from  H&M. Finallyyyyyy I own a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas! I have wanted them for over an year…

Take a gander…..

Oh and then whilst walking to the ATM this really cool girl named Lilly stopped to compliment my Litas…And then I asked her to take a pic because I am cool like that…Plus I want   need them in brown. Isn’t she a doll? Hey Lilly!!!

Here is a similar combo below :)

Current Obsession: 10 pairs of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I NEED for Fall.

Did I just utter the word Fall? I have some nerve.Like it or not, in two weeks September issues will hit newsstands and many of us start to complain about summer ending. One being yours truly.I realize I am in the wrong part of the country to whine about frigid temps, but just work with me people.

What I do know is that fall reminds me that I love cooler weather fashion. My fall/winter wardrobe needs a major overhaul and I think new shoes will give it CPR. Last year Jeffrey released his Lita’s and the crowd went wild. Since I moved dead smack in the middle of the winter funds were limited and I wass’t able to splurge much on shoes. Anything I bought was significantly on the cheap. Thankfully, the Lita’s show no sign of retreating for 2011-2012. He has released tons of new colors and a million variations of the 5 inch heel.

Those have of course made it onto my list of absolute must haves. Below are some  of his shoes that I have fallen in love with…What are you faves?

Frugal Fashionista : Stylish Vince Camuto shoes all under $100

Not sure about the rest of the country, but I am still very much pinching my pennies these days. In fact, after looking through my make up I have found 912381 products I rarely use and some even are still in their original packaging.FOR SHAME! I put myself on a make up no buy until January 5th. During the next month, I hope to be able to swatch and review the many products I have stashed in my apt. And furthermore save some cash! I haven’t really spent much money on clothing and shoes-which I actually do need, believe it or not.

I hope to also blog more about less expensive fashion and give you make up looks with drugstore products, like this one.

Anyway, I’m really digging footwear from Vince Camuto. He has some cute and stylish things and I managed to find several pairs for under $100. Check em’ out…let me know what you think. Do any of you own any of his shoes?

Current Obsession: Lace up Boots.

I have added two pair to my wants  needs list. I love the versatility of them. I’ve seen them dressed up and down. Even the flat ones are sexy and pull together a look. Besides that , the functionality of them, you can be fly and warm…Although I am still in denial winter is right around the corner. Here are some looks that caught my eye…

LOVE this pop of color the boot gives.

Here are some that I managed to stalk down…. now let me see if  can locate Santa’s bbm pin.

A Fatale Boot.

I saw these boots a few weeks ago on Nitrolicious… And since then, I have been dreaming of ways to wear them…Thinking of exactly how to get that cost per wear down to pennies. I haven’t spent a chunk of change on shoes in forever, partly because it’s shoes or food. And if you haven’t noticed I don’t miss a meal.Plus I have a cat that thinks she earns an income, and refuses to eat the generic version of fancy feast, jerk.
