We haven’t had our first snow yet here in NYC, and yet CHANEL’s spring 2012 Harmonie  de Printemps  collection has tip toed into the streets. I can’t say that I’m upset about it. Can you believe we will be ringing in 2012 in less than a week? I need to catch my breath for a moment! Not sure if I’m doing anything spectacular to bring in the new year, but no time like the present to explore looks for sipping champagne and dancing the night away.

Berry hued lips immediately suggest sexiness, and a great alternative if you normally wear red lipstick. The color is still a showstopper, therefore a soft but sultry eye would be in order. Heavy black liner and a neutral eye base paired with lashes and mascara and BAM! Use bronzer to add glow to the face, a soft blush and highlighter to add dimension – voila!

Fashion Designer Charlotte Ronson has gotten her feet wet with makeup. I don’t blame her; you can have one without the other. Her line, inspired by her friends and family, includes eyeshadow palettes, blushes, and even a few hair products!

The 3 x a Charm palette named after her friend (also a fashion designer), Shoshanna Gruss. Shoshanna is a busy mom and always on the go. Hence the portability of three products in one palette.

On my skin the luminizer or highlight would not work. The blush? Yes and yes! It would fit as a neutral in the range of colors I already own. The bronzer would actually be better suited as a highlight (on my skin tone). I really like the idea of having 3 items in one palette. If you are more fair than I am you would get great use out of all three colors.The prices are very reasonable as well.

This is one of those products I have had for quite a while….. Let me just say, no matter what your skin tone (well lamost any) this could be flattering.

For me it serves the purpose of a blush, bronzer and highlight. Trying to reduce the amount of makeup you’re carrying in your overnight bag? This can very much work as eyeshadow as well.

The colors are very rich and have zero chalkiniess. The texture is very much like high end cosmetics you would find at a Bloomingdale’s or Saks. I beg of thee to go check out her bronzers, I purchased mine at Walgreen’s. They can also be found at many Target locations.

After my homie Danielle told me about Estee Lauder’s illuminating powder gelee I knew it was probably about that life. Once I got it on my little grubby paws it was love at first sight. What I noticed when I first swatched it was the amazing texture. I honestly can count on one hand of the products that intend to illuminate, only to leave me looking like Tinkerbell (shimmer, glitter,etc). I snagged this a few weeks ago at Bergdorf’s and finally got around to swatching and taking pics. Its is one of two of the bronzers Chanel released for summer 2011. The coveted “Mimosa” nail lacquer also accompanies this collection. I have not worn it yet with a full face of make up yet, which I plan on doing this week! I purchased the “Bronze Corail”, this one is recommended for deeper skin tones. I’m thinking it is going to make an awesome blush.

It also includes a brush, it not the best thing going,but will get the job done in a pinch. I will say it feels nicer than any other brush included in a compact that I own.

You heard it right!!!!! Their most popular bronzer Laguna will be available in a body bronzer. *insert angels singing*

We got a taste of what Laguna would look in a liquid form with the illuminators that have been released.
From my VERY reliable source the liquid body bronzer will have the scent of Nars Monoi oil(which I love long time). It will be a richer in color than the illuminator and give fuller color than the body glow. The finish will have you looking as if you have relaxed in Tahiti for a week, so I have been told.

Tahiti? In a tube? I’m ALLLLL over this. If you haven’t bronzed your legs during the summer, I can assure you this will be a good time to give it a whirl.

Here is how the Laguna Illuminator looks on my sad sallow arm. This is NOT the actual body bronzer, I just wanted to give you an idea of how it enhances your complexion. If you have imperfect legs – like my drumsticks (i.e. scars, stretchmarks, vericose veins, etc) you can use something such a bronzer to blur and give the illusion of model-esque legs. POW!

The bronzer should be available by mid May and will be approximately $45. The size will be considerably larger than the illuminators, I do not have the exact fluid ounces as of yet.
