ASOS 20 Percent off St.Paddy’s Day Code + Cute Finds

ASOS is holding zero punches these days! The discounts here and there make it hard for a girl to resist shopping from the comfort of her bed, ya know?

From now until Sunday at midnight the mega online retailer is offering 20 percent off your entire purchase by entering STPADDYS at the checkout.

Here are some cute pieces I found. Many are very inexpensive! Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go fill my virtual shopping cart.

Ballin’ on a Budget: Additional 29 Percent off at ASOS! Check Out 50+ Pieces- All Under $50.

The fact that ASOS has free shipping for both purchases and returns  makes me forever comfortable with shopping the site online. I know many sites did promos for Leap day. ASOS has extended their promo through tomorrow (Friday) at midnight. You can receive up to 29 percent off your total by entering the promo code LEAPYEAHUSA at the check out.

I just ordered the brushstroke pencil skirt before my size ran out! I will be browsing some more after I finish putting away laundry (insert growl).

Check out some great inexpensive finds below.

What I wore: I Heart my Pants

My pal Danielle and I were out and about in Queens on Friday. Man was it chilly. It was actually the first time all week I had put on clothes, lol. I got my shirt at Old Navy and ordered these silly pants from Asos.

I really like my watch, it’s by La Mer, I received it at Lucky FABB.

 The trusty JC Litas.

My glasses were purchased from a street vendor in Soho and the jacket is about 4 years old from GAP. The clutch is about 5 years old from Urban outfitters.

Budget Friendly Fashion: Twenty Dresses from ASOS all under $50

Window shopping ASOS’s sale section I found quite a few dresses that may or may not need to make it to Queens, specifically in my closet. I grabbed a couple of items the other day, but since ASOS has free shipping me thinks I may want to place another order. Many of the dresses could very easily be worn as is, others you can totally layer and rock this fall/winter. I am imaging all the styling possibilities and need to rack up on tights, chunky heels and accessories!

Take a look….

Don’t buy up all of the size tens- I’m warning you! I will come to your house.

Tuck Your Summer in: Cute Coats from Asos under $200

Welp………..It is officially Autumn. Blink and you may or may not wake up to snow…The time has come to start getting your coats, outerwear and cashmere to the cleaners. Check the soles of those riding boots to see if they need love and affection from the cobbler.

I was perusing asos as I do from time to time. I found many cute coats for fall/winter. I found some genuine bargains! While I have my eye on a Mackage or two; these will suffice as a sweet substitute in the  meantime.

Do you have your eye on a new coat? Do share!

ASOS clearance + 10 percent off….check out what I spy under $65

I have said this numerous times as of late…….I am so glad asos got their act together! The massive site had copias shipping issues late last year, and by golly they’re on point now!

I think they must be cleaning house, they have so many cute finds marked down, many less than half of their original price. For limited time they are doing an extra ten percent off sale using the code EXTRATEN. Not sure how long it is for, as I do not see anything that specifies. What I do know is, if you see something you like, COP IT! As always they have free shipping. If you hate the item you can return and the shipping is prepaid. It’s pretty much a win/win situation.

Here are some odds and ends I spotted worthy of a look. Asos has petite, plus as well as maternity sizing as well.

I recently did an outift post, wearing a dress from Asos. Check it out here.

What I Wore: Asos Midi Dress and Vintage Aigner

I am finally back in my humble abode here in Queens! I went back home to Cincinnati for a long weekend and had a great time with family and friends. I attended my sister in law’s baby shower and of course I ate like a water buffalo.

No need to beat a dead horse about my weight gain. I chose a dress that was inexpensive, comfortable and covered all of my body parts. I tell you Asos is on their A game lately………..

Here are details on my dress:

I scored these Sam Edelman wedges a few years ago at an LF sale. Love how the leather on the wedge is tooled.

My Etienne Aigner bag was given to me a few years ago by my great grandmother….It is at least 30 years old. I love it!

My watch is actually a men’s watch by Invicta..I really dig chunky over-sized watches so I copped a men’s one and had 6 links taken out.

I have been without wifi while I was away, so  I am really looking forward to catching up on posts and all the good stuff. Thanks for reading!

What I Wore: Cobalt Blue Envelope clutch with a side of Meow!

I had the pleasure of linking with several of my blogging pals last Friday after work. It is rare that we all get together just to kick it. We went to Negril and it was a nice atmosphere, great music and tasty food :)

It has been awhile since I have been able to do an outfit post. While I don’t think my lil get up was all that, it did a decent job of hiding the fact that I am currently 2o lbs overweight. But my envelope clutch was tres dope! It was a cobalt blue and dirt cheap from asos. Here are a couple of shots I managed to get.

The pants and top were from one of those cheapie stores in Soho. Shoes by Marciano.

The bag added a nice pop of color and gave my otherwise muted outfit some life.

Here are more awesome bags at Asos- who by the way finally have their act together.
