Out and About: The Project Runway Aquafina Pure Challenge- MAKE IT WORK!
Last week at the start of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) I had the awesome opportunity to attend Aquafina’s #PureChallenge on the rooftop of the forever cool Empire Hotel.
Four contestants had one hour to create a design using only what they had in their tool box. No pressure! The judges had familiar faces; Bert Keeter, Uli Hertzner and Emilio Sosa, all Project Runway former contestants.
The beautiful Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars hosted the event. Carmen Green, hailing from Baltimore won the challenge; pocketing $5k and a year’s supply of Aquafina (I could totally use that!). The Aquafina “Pure Challenge” was inspired by Aquafina’s commitment to providing pure water and perfect taste to help consumers feel their best every day.
