Lipstick Fashion Mascara

May I keep it real? Yes? Ok. This scent sat on my dresser for MONTHS before I wanted anything to do with it. I actually won a few bottles of the I LOVE NEW YORK collection last year. My most favorite is/was the scent for ‘him’.

I totally have all my female organs. But the ‘him’ is pretty awesome on me.

A few months ago I finally picked this  up and gave it a whirl. My first thought? Why in the heck did I allow this to marinate on my dresser for so long? AS IF!!! I mean, I really like this stuff.  I think I initially put it in a ‘bubble gum’ category. Something too sweet and not enough kick. It is nothing of the sort.

Here is a break down of the notes: mandarin zest, spicy nutmeg, blueberry accord, pink peonies, patchouli, musk, vanilla, sandalwood and leather accord. It initially goes on very sweet. I pick up the vanilla and sandalwood immediately. After 15 minutes or so the floral notes are very apparent. While it does have patchouli it does a nice job holding the fragrance together; without over powering everything else.

You may be tardy for the party for Valentine’s day; but this is definitely a ‘treat yo’self’ situation. It is priced at $175 for 100ml and $105 for 50ml. Go check it out and let me know what you think!
