The Foundation: Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation- Review, Before and After Photos
At last, I have remembered to take photos after I have put this on. Earlier last year after eyeballing my shade, I took the plunge and ordered Lingerie De Peau from Sephora. I had the opportunity to at least check out the texture before hand and I felt like it could work for my oily skin.
Why I had to have it? Guerlain makes the claim that it wears like second skin.Yes. I had to have it. This foundation comes in 11 shades. My color is 25 Dark Fonce, the darkest shade available (to my knowledge). That of course is one of the not so great sides to this foundation.
If I may keep it real, the only reason I don’t wear this more often is because I have 4317 other foundations in rotation. Ok so maybe more like 5. It actually does feel like second skin; even when I wore it in scorching hot temps during the summer. I found it wore best with a primer, I fancy using Guerlain’s Meteorites. Without a primer I find myself blotting shine more often; yet it still holds up without any streakiness.
Here are before and after photos.
After (below)
The remainder of the photos are with a full face of makeup, I didn’t use a setting powder, but usually do.
I should also note that if you are sensitive to fragrance this may not be for you. Lingerie de Peau is priced at $58 for 1 oz.
