Frugal Fashionista: A Day at Woodbury Common Premium outlets (pics and video included)

Early yesterday morning me and my homie Danielle of The Style and Beauty Doctor ventured out of NYC to the infamous Woodbury Common. The mission? Just what are retailers and very BIG name designers offering at a discount. The marketing director and her assistant at Woodbury graciously received permission from several retailers for us to film and accompany us during our walk through this ginormous place (thank you ladies so much- we had fun!).

Woodbury Common is home to many stores you see in other outlet centers- Nike, Polo, Esprit, etc… But read on as the plot thickens. Woodbury, located north of New York City has Catherine Malandrino, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chloe, Gucci, Pratesi, Oscar De La Renta…. I could go on. Over 200 stores, folks!

We started at Catherine Malandrino where we found items at an additional 50% off! Shoes were 75% off. I DIED. There were several dresses I spotted that could have easily found comfort in my closet. Supple leather wraps I am visualizing myself in this very second. As we know, many times things in outlet stores are from previous seasons (I have ZERO problems with this), yet as a sales associate informed me, several dresses are currently available in boutiques. Catherine placed them in the outlet stores to let clients give them a whirl- at a 20% discount.

Here are a few of them gems I was able to capture.

The hand of this dress was dreamy!

yummy.

I would so pair this with a pair of skinny pants and a funky platform.

loved loved the color of this dress.

Next we went to AG Adriano Goldschmied. They had walls and walls of denim and cords. Danielle and I did a little mini fit session, and found some denim that fit the curves perfectly! We saw Lycra and heard angels humming. The sales associate informed us to make sure they fit snug. After washing and wearing they will give and loosen about one half size down.  I tried a pair of cords and this very second banging my head into a wall for not getting them. They were $159 marked to $79. Luckily they do charge sends….If you know what it is you are looking for they do ship from the store. This weekend outwear will be an additional 50% off!

big mama

I’d wear these with everything.

Check out this tiny video from in the store…. I have no idea how to edit so there will be several of these short vids. But watch them anyway because I’m pretty cool.

Then the journey its kind of a blur, as far as sequence…not because I was bored, but because there were soooooooooooo many nice things to look at!

Giuseppe Zanotti had some goodies too. I spotted espadrilles, and I almost started crying for fear that summer may never come.

The store was 50 -65% off. They also had a sample sale section that was $99- $149.

And gold riding boots? YES. YES. YES.

We didn’t forget diamonds are a girl’s best friend. David Yurman at 30% off anyone? Welp. David Yurman at The London Jewelry Collection has plenty baubles to chose from. All David Yurman watches are always 50% off. They offer discounts during holidays such as 20% off $500 purchases.Let me know if you need my wishlist.

pink tourmaline... so pretty!

I spied some Hello Kitty bling ….

 Part two coming Stay tuned!
